100th Day Crowns

Do you use crowns or headbands in your classroom?  My oldest son is 4 and he loves wearing crowns.  I wanted to share these crowns with you that are super easy to prep and fun for the 100th day.

There are 3 different ways this activity can be completed.  Each hat says "100 Days Smarter".  First up is a free style crown.  This crown can be colored or decorated anyway the student chooses.  Students can color the circles, use bingo markers, paint with Q-tips or use stickers.  Each of these methods help strengthen fine motor skills at the same time.
Next, there is a color by shape activity included.  This activity helps students review 2d shapes and color words.
Lastly, there is a color by code key included in which students give themselves a checkmark after coloring 10 of each color: blue, pink, red, etc. until they have completed all of the colors listed.
I love these crowns because not only are they fun for the 100th day, but they also practice fine motor skills, color words and shapes.  You can find them in my store here.

I Think You're Sharp Hedgehog Bulletin Board Activities

Let's talk Valentine's for a minute.  Would you believe my children and my husband already have their gifts for Valentine's Day?!  I bought them all something because I didn't want the gift to sell out at the store.  Valentine's is 3 weeks away, but my oldest son found their gifts.  I need to find a better hiding spot!

If you're looking for Valentine's Day ideas, I have this craft and writing activity that can be used to go along with the book Hedgehugs by Steve Wilson.

In the download you will receive bulletin board letters that read "Hedgehugs" and "I Think You're Sharp!".

Here is a look at the writing activities for Valentine's Day:
There is also writing paper included that can be used to record hedgehog facts.  This craft can be used anytime throughout the year.
There are also hearts in which students can write 1 letter each of his/her first name.  Students can color the hedgehog topper and then complete the name practice activity.
To see everything that is included, you can visit my store by clicking the link here.

Or pin these ideas for later:
I hope you all have a wonderful day and are able to find a good hiding spot for your gifts!

Polar Bear Craft and Writing

Do your students learn about animals in the winter?  I know polar bears are always a popular topic for the winter months, so I made this packet that contains several different craft and writing activities that are easy to prep.

There are bulletin board letters, toppers, writing pages and name crafts included in this packet.  The words read "I Only Have Paws for You", making an adorable display for Valentine's.  However, this craft does not have to be used only at Valentine's.  There are snowballs included for name practice and 5 writing pages that can be used anytime of the year for students to record their learning about polar bears.

You can see everything that is included by looking at the pictures below or checking this out in my store here.

Elf Craft and Writing Plus Name Craft

The month of December flew by for me!  I had to take a class to renew my teaching certificate, and with Christmas, I haven't had a chance to share the updates of my elf craft with you.  Teachers are loving my name practice activities, so I added a way that this elf craft and writing activity could be used for name practice as well.
This craft contains templates for cutting and pasting a boy and girl elf.  There are 6 different writing pages included.  Peppermints are also included if you have younger students that need name practice.
Students simply write 1 letter of his/her name onto each peppermint.
You can see this craft listed in my store here.

Feel free to pin any of the pictures to save this idea for next year.
