Scaredycrow Craft & Writing

This week we have been doing many different scarecrow activities.  I ordered three new books for this week: Scaredycrow, The Little Scarecrow Boy and The Scarecrow's Hat.

I love all three of these books.  Today I read Scaredycrow and then the kids completed a scarecrow craft and responded to the story by telling me what scares them.

Here is what our class had to say:

Jesslyn: "I am scared of people saying boo".

Mason: "I am scared of wolves".

Amy: "I am scared of Ryan saying boo".

Leah: "I am scared of my mom yelling".

Xavier: "I am scared of bats".
