I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Our decorations go up earlier and earlier each year. I normally decorate at the beginning of November for my birthday, but this year, our house was all decked out before Halloween. We have had pouring rain for Christmas and today as well, so I got everything all down and packed up yesterday. I always hate to see it end, but it is so nice to have our house all cleaned up and back in order.
Since we've had so much rain, it was a great time for me to put together this penguin post that I thought would be helpful for January. If your class will be learning about penguins, I have a fun cut and paste name craft and writing activity. This lesson can be used with students in PreK all the way up to second or even third grade.
