At the Farm~ emergent reader

My class is doing such a great job learning sight words.  We have two 15 minute blocks during the day where kids Read to Self or Read With a Partner.  When introducing a new sight word, I like to give the kids readers so that they can practice reading and writing the word.  After the kids make the reader, they can put it in their basket to read during Reading Time.  After a week or so, I let the kids clean out their basket and take the books we make home so that they will have room for new books to be added.
